How Can I Help? There are many ways to help. You can collect nonperishable food and paper products such as toilet paper, to donate to the food bank. You or your group can sponsor a senior citizen. Many of our seniors are in dire straights. By sponsoring a senior, you ensure that they receive an additional box of food, each month for 12 months. This costs $200 per senior sponsored. You can donate money to Project Hope. Project Hope is a 501c3 organization so that donations are tax free. Currently, 85% of every dollar donated is used to buy food. To donate food and other items, bring them to Project Hope during open hours. To sponsor a senior, contact the director, Pam Stephan at 989-366-9596. She will explain the procedure. To make a donation, send checks to: Project Hope, Inc. |
